Dusk On Grande Canal

Dusk On Grande Canal

"

The restaurants were alive along the canal busy with customers dining al fresco, and the scent of Italian cuisine mixes with the saltwater of the Adriatic Sea. Table candles cast a warm glow on diners and the sound of conversations and laughter filled the cool night air.

This photography wall decor will give you a place to escape from your hectic day to daydream and recharge.

This was one of two images that I captured one evening from the Rialto Bridge.
It was my favourite time to shoot at what I call the edge of darkness.

It was my favourite time to shoot at what I call the edge of darkness. A magical 10 minutes when its neither day or night but a slice of time in-between with the last breath of sun reflected in the sky and the artificial light of the city glows warmly.

I noticed the Gondolier gracefully steering his Gondola towards its mooring for the evening and kept shooting.

I particularly love the slight blur of the Gondola in the water adding to the gracefulness of this beautiful iconic boat.
